Little League® to Increase Access and Opportunity with
League Choice at Youngest Levels of Play Starting in 2025

Starting with the 2024-25 season, children at the youngest level of the Little League® Baseball and Softball program (League Age 4-7) will have the ability to register for any Little League program they choose, without respect to any geography- or school-related eligibility requirements. Those players who register under this option will also be fully eligible to participate in all aspects of league play, including International Tournament play, for the duration of their Little League careers provided they have continuous and unbroken participation from the time they are League Age seven within the specific league where initially registered and provided all other participation eligibility requirements have been met. Arcadia Little League supports this initiative and will register out of boundary players (Arcadia Little League boundaries can be found here***MAP))  subject to availability at the time of registration.
Here are some things to know about Arcadia's registration policy:

  • Registration process: In order to play in Arcadia Little League,  all prospective players must register online at www.arcadialittleleague.com during the registration period.

  • Availability: Registration of out of boundary players is subject to availability.

  • Waitlist: If a division of play is at capacity at the time of registration, players will be placed on a waitlist.  They will be notified by email and payment will not be accepted until they are removed from the waitlist and placed on a team. After the close of regular registration all players on the waitlist will be notified of availability.  If there is availability players will be removed from the waitlist and placed on a team until all available slots are filled. The waitlist will be processed in the following order: Boundary Players in order of registration, then Non-Boundary Players in order of registration.

  • Capacity: Capacity is subject to change at any time during the registration process based on field availability and volunteers in each division and at each location.
