Registration is available now for D-backs Baseball Academy summer youth baseball & softball camps. These weeklong camps are for boys and girls, age 6-14. Each camp is $175 and run Monday through Friday for 3 hours each day.

Registration includes a T-shirt, cap and one free ticket to a 2017 D-backs home game with the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at a discount. Visit dbacks.com/academy for the full Summer Youth Camps schedule. Camps are scheduled throughout June and July in locations around the state.

Times: 8:00-10:30 am

Location: Ingleside Fields (Ingleside Middle School)

Ages: Group 1: (6-9) Group 2: (10-14)

Coach Kehoe brings with him over 21 years of coaching experience, including 4 years as a High School Head Baseball Coach. Throughout his career, he has coached more than 35 All Conference, 20 All-Area and 8 All- State players.  With two children of his own, Coach Kehoe has spent numerous hours coaching kids. Whether it be in his own camps, clinics or private lessons or by volunteering within the community in organizations such as YMCA, or Little League Baseball, Coach Kehoe thoroughly enjoys working with children. He holds a teaching credential in Physical Education, has a Masters Degree in Physical Education, and is certified in CPR and First Aid.  He currently is the Director and coach of the Arcadia Bulldogs Baseball Club and is also teaching PE and coaching the Varsity pitchers at Basha High School.

During this three day baseball camp, we will review with each camper the fundamentals involved in throwing, fielding, running the bases, hitting and pitching.  We will cover proper warm-up procedures, arm strengthening programs and how to properly care for their arm.   We will teach each camper these areas of the game by using a variety of small group drill stations.  Finally, we will instruct each camper how to properly demonstrate sportsmanship, being a good teammate and most important having fun in the game of baseball.  The last day will be mainly devoted to playing the game of baseball.

Campers please bring your cleats, glove, helmet, bat and plenty of water/ Gatorade on each day of the camp.

Join Arcadia Softball Coach Jason Foster to improve your softball techniques and skills, while learning offensive and defensive strategies of this fast-paced game.

Campers are required to wear softball attire - bring their glove, sunscreen and lots of water!
