TRYOUT DATES ANNOUNCED
Tryouts (player evaluations) will be held at Ingleside Middle School on SATURDAY, JANUARY 20, or SATURDAY, JANUARY 27. Times are listed below. Players must be registered online before they will be able to tryout. There will not be a computer at tryouts this year, so please be sure to register before you arrive.

ALL baseball players age 8 and older, and ALL softball players age 9 and older ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE OF THE TWO TRYOUT (Player Evaluation) DATES.

MANDATORY BASEBALL TRYOUT TIMES:
Lower divisions (7 years old and younger) are not required to tryout
Baseball Farm AAA (8 year olds) 8 - 9:30 a.m. IMS South Field
Baseball Minors (9 year olds) 9:30 - 10:15 a. m. IMS South Field
Baseball Minors (10 year olds) 10:15 - 11:30 a. m. IMS South Field
Baseball Majors (11 & 12 year olds) 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. IMS South Field
Baseball Juniors (13 and older) No Tryout Required

MANDATORY SOFTBALL TRYOUT TIMES:
Lower divisions (8 years old and younger) are not required to tryout
Girls Minors (9 & 10 year olds) 9 - 10:30 a.m. IMS East Field
Girls Majors (11 & 12 year olds) 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. IMS East Field

May 12 - Regular season ends for all draft division
May 14 - Champions Tournament begins (Baseball/Softball Minors/Majors)
May 19 - Regular season ends for younger divisions
May 23 - Minors Softball and Baseball Championship
May 24 - Majors Softball and Baseball Championship


LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL ADOPTS NEW BAT STANDARD
Little League International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, that includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers and licensed bat lists.

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA BASEBALL BAT STANDARD will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.
